Problem: When I go to post a message, I keep getting asked to log in over and over again.

Solution: The message boards at blackjackforumonline.com require users to register in order to post. The purpose of this is not to gather info on posters, but to protect people’s handles (log-in names) from being used by someone else.

After you've registered once, all you have to do to post messages is log in. But to recognize you after you've logged in, the message board software requires cookies.

If you are getting asked to log in over and over again, it’s usually because your cookies are completely turned off. For a few people, it may be a small cookie compatibility problem with your browser.

This shouldn't prevent you from being able to post. If, for example, you don't want to turn on your cookies, you will just need to enter your log in information at every step of the posting process. When you return to the message board, you'll see that your post is up.

If you would prefer to fix the problem so you only have to log in once, you don’t need to change your overall cookies setting. You just need to allow them for this particular Web site. Here’s how you do that:

  1. Go to your computer’s Control Panel (located within "Settings" in your "Start" menu).
  2. Within the Control Panel, click on Internet Options.
  3. Within Internet Options, click on the "Privacy" file.
  4. You do not have to change your overall cookies setting. Instead, where it says "Web Sites," click on "Edit" to enable cookies at blackjackforumonline.com only.
  5. Type in blackjackforumonline.com where it says "Address of Web Site:". Then click "Allow."
  6. Click on OK to close the screen. You should now be able to log in once and post on any board without logging in again.
