The internet holds many unusual blackjack games that you can play online either for real money or for free. For example, many of them you will find at the CasinoAppKings.com blackjack apps, where you can find blackjack variations from industry giants like Microgaming, NetEnt, Betsoft and Playtech as well as others. Too many good and unusual blackjack games can be found at the casinos that these providers supply with games to list them all here, so we will select five of the best.

Double Exposure Blackjack

This unusual blackjack game can be played mostly at casinos supplied by NetEnt, but there have been other providers with this variation, which means it's not exclusive to NetEnt, as in the case of some other blackjack games.

This game is unusual because of the advantage that the player gets. When the dealer deals the cards you get to see his hand because both of his cards are face up, hence the name Double Exposure. Your cards are face up too, but since the dealer is a computer, that doesn’t matter much. Some casinos have a pro version where the bet limits are quite high.

21 Burn Blackjack

21 Burn can be found with casinos that use the games from Betsoft. It's an exciting multi-hand blackjack game where you can play with up to 3 hands at the same time. What's unique about this game is the burn card option. With this option you get to try to improve your hand by burning the top card of your hand and replacing it with another. The only disadvantage is that you don't get to see what the next card will be. However, when you have a hand of a King and a 3, you don't really need to see the next card. What can be worse than a 3? Four, five, or six of course, but the chances are that you will get a much better card.

Blackjack Players Choice

1x2 Gaming may be one of the smaller casino game providers, but it has many equally exciting blackjack games. In this unique game you get to choose the first card in your hand as well as the first card in the hand of the dealer. The dealer spreads 10 cards face down in pairs of two, and after placing your bet, you get to choose your and the dealer's hand by clicking on one of the pairs. When you click one of the cards will be revealed, and you get to decide whether you want that hand based on the card that has been revealed. If not, you get to discard it and choose another. When you have chosen your hand, you just have to click on one of the pairs to select the dealer's hand, and that is when both hands' down cards will be turned face up.

Blackjack Switch

This game is one of Playtech's most popular offerings. Blackjack Switch is popular because it gives the player an edge against the dealer because the player gets to switch the top cards of his hands. The game starts by placing a bet and you get dealt two hands with face up cards. When you see that both of your hands are weak, you can choose to switch the top cards between them so that you can have two stronger hands or at least one strong hand.

21 Duel Blackjack

Another gem in Playtech's blackjack library is 21 Duel Blackjack. It's one of the more difficult ones to play because there is great room for error. The game starts by placing an ante bet. You get two cards, one face up, while the dealer gets two cards face down. Also, the dealer puts two cards on the table. Now it's your turn to choose between the left or the right card in order to pair it with your face up card. When you have done that, the computer automatically makes the same bet as your ante bet, so now your bet is doubled. Now you get to hit or stand. If the card that you have chosen is sufficient, you can stand. If not, you can hit. You also have the option to raise your bet additionally with the 2UP bet option.
